About Us
Italian food. It’s America’s most popular ethnic cuisine - by a nice margin. Pizza has practically become an American institution. Alas, even Fettuccine Alfredo, the pride and joy of Roman restaurateur Alfredo di Lello who created this tasty dish in the 1920s, has become a household name from coast to coast.
Italy’s gastronomic splendor, however, encompasses much more than just pizza and fettuccine Alfredo. Many excellent dishes have only recently made their way into the palate of American consumers. Ossobucco, bruschetta, carpaccio, risotto, gnocchi, and gelato to name a few.
With the intention of offering to a growing public a wider selection of authentic Italian cuisine, Bruschetta & Co. opened its doors in the fall of 1999 in Miami. Until recently, dishes such as the veal shank (ossobucco) or the potato dumplings (gnocchi) mentioned above could only be found in very upscale and expensive Italian restaurants. We offer all of the above-mentioned dishes as well as mainstream favorites and even fusion masterpieces. And as you’ll discover yourself from our menus, our prices are very reasonable and competitive. In fact, we were voted “Best Inexpensive Italian Restaurant” in Miami by Miami’s premier trendy publication, The Miami New Times.
And we’re not just about the food. We put the same heartfelt dedication in our dining room as we do in our kitchen. That is, we live and breathe hospitality, day in and day out! Service is a word that has deep roots in our operating philosophy and culture. A word that in many of today’s restaurants has gotten lost amid bottom lines and balance sheets.
So when you join us for lunch or dinner, just sit back and take in the fabulous ambiance of our dining room, let our knowledgeable and friendly staff treat you to a great dining experience, and savor the first-rate quality of our diverse cuisine. We hope to see you soon!
